We are also part of Heidelberg Cement Group, one of the world’s largest building materials companies.Inland Pipe, a division of Lehigh Hanson Materials Limited is seeking an administrative professional to be located in our office in Calgary, AB located at 7336 112 Ave NW . This is an entry level role.Reporting to the Administrative Supervisor, this position provides centralized administrative support to our Pipe operations in Canada, including production, sales, and engineering.What youll get to do:

  • Answering and direct incoming call to the appropriate operations person
  • Data entry, filing, creation of purchase orders
  • Provide time tracking, input and payroll administration for the Kronos time entry system
  • Consolidate and code PCard purchases, code and approve invoices, prepare check requests, coordinate accounts payable matters
  • Coordinate travel reservations and prepare expense reports
  • Provide reconciliation of all month end reporting processes and data
  • Provide new employee onboarding and hiring processes for hourly production employees and process all hourly status changes
  • Support administration of Titan software system
Essential Experience and Skills:
  • Advanced software skills including Microsoft Office
  • Basic accounting experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Poise and strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with all types of employees, customers, suppliers, and external parties
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Certificate in Office Administration or Basic Accounting post-secondary is an asset
  • 1-2 years administrative assistant experience in a manufacturing/construction environment or combination of relevant experience and training/education is preferred
  • SAP
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
