We have hundreds of plants and thousands of employees working across the United States and Canada. We are also part of Heidelberg Cement Group, one of the world’s largest building materials companies.The Plant Clerk role is based in Calgary, AB and reports directly to the Operations Manager.What youll get to do:

  • Support all payroll functions including time tracking, input and status changes for the plant hourly workforce.
  • Vacation tracking for salaried employees
  • Support administration of hiring and onboarding processes for hourly employees
  • Provide coding and data entry for Onbase software system
  • Support Kronos time management and scheduling for hourly workforce including time cards
  • Support and participate in month end reporting and reconciliation including inventory tracking and input
  • Answers accounts receivable inquiries, processes payments, and processes daily deposit records
  • Codes invoices for payment
  • Liaisons with HR to administer benefits for hourly employees
  • Issues Purchase Orders for equipment, supplies and raw material intake
Who we are looking for:
  • Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma
  • Four or more years of administrative experience with basic accounting and analytical skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates with some post-secondary education in Business or Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and advanced communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to participate effectively in a team environment
