Job Description

This is a full-time permanent position on a team that operates 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.Position Title: Pricing CoordinatorTeam and Location: Calgary, ABPosition Summary:Maintain accurate pricing for commercial division and coordinate changes with operations and sales personnel. This is a full-time permanent position on a team that operates 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate data entry of pricing components to Ascend from email and other sources.
  • Accurate preparation of base posted pricing and racks for the commercial division
  • Accurate preparation of uploads for freight & additional pricing modifiers
  • Daily validation of pricing and margin review for cardlock transactions
  • Coordinate with Commercial Operations and Sales staff on pricing issues
  • Validation of pricing accuracy in Ascend
  • Pro-actively identify pricing issues and pricing setups outside of standard pricing structure
  • Coordinate special projects & more complex tasks with the pricing team, Commercial Ops & Sales
  • Accurate preparation of various reports for Commercial Operations and Sales staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided to both internal and external customers
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Ability to work under pressure and respect tight deadlines
  • Able to perform repetitive duties while staying focused on the tasks at hand
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
  • Strong collaboration & communication skills, written and oral
  • Ability to work in English and French, written and oral
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Intermediate Excel skills (efficient use of Pivot Tables, Vlookup formulas, other logic-based formulas)
  • Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail to drive data-based decisions
  • Knowledge of the fuel industry would be considered an asset
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Bilingual in French & English is considered an asset.
