As such, we welcome talented individuals that have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and industry experience who will contribute to the success of our One Parkland team.Position Title: Process Integration SpecialistTeam and Location: Finance - Calgary, ABPosition Summary:The primary responsibility of this position is to be a key retail finance participant in project delivery with internal clients in the areas of operational and process excellence, change management and/or M&A integration. The primary goal is to represent Finance to drive impactful business results through multiple initiatives. Support post go-live and production issues resolution by critically problem solving and networking with other Canada Finance, IT, and operations teams.Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of the Retail and Commercial Finance project delivery team during solutioning, development, testing, and delivery to operation.
  • Work with Finance leadership to ensure proper documentation of the go forward support structure, assist with change management and training of the back office team.
  • Support reconciliation, interfaces, and integrations between systems, access financial data and provide expert analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with the cross-functional project team to translate business process into Financial and Settlement processes.
  • Be the finance retail lead on marketing and loyalty program initiative by collaborating with Marketing, IT and operations.
  • Documentation of controls and failure point of system changes.
  • Be a change agent, champion process improvement discipline in all process improvements or business development opportunity.
  • Leverage analytical tools to diagnose, recommend and resolve significant process issues.
  • Actively provide relevant business/functional expertise while demonstrating creativity, adaptability and resourcefulness.
  • Capacity to diagnose, document and propose solutions to complex financial settlement issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or finance with a CPA designation (equivalent experience considered).
  • A minimum of 3+ years work experience in retail finance, financial systems and process integration technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to organize and negotiate with multi disciplinary teams in order to meet business needs.
  • Experience using JD Edwards and/or retail back office systems (such as PDI), an asset.
  • Highly developed planning and organizing; can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Independently writes well-structured, concise documents.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to think critically, solve complex problems and creatively develop actionable solutions.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving changes in process, culture, behavior and mindset is an asset.
