For further information on privacy, please visit www.kyndryl.com/privacy.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesOverviewKyndryl Canada is seeking a highly motivated bilingual (English/French) individual with comprehensive commercial procurement and client facing experience to join our team of procurement professionals.Candidates applying to this role are expected to be self-starters that have a desire to grow their skills within the Procurement discipline of the supply chain. The individual will learn Kyndryl’s procurement processes primarily in the Technology Product (Networking/Software) area as well as one or more additional commodity families to drive savings and support our Kyndryl Procurement Brand. This is an excellent time to hone negotiation and contract skills while dealing with the Kyndryl internal clients/stakeholders. Candidates will also build their supplier relationship skills as they interface on an ongoing basis with various Suppliers to fulfill Kyndryl’s requirements. Representing Kyndryl in a thoroughly professional manner provides a terrific opportunity to develop one’s skill, character and career.Strong verbal and written proficiency in both English and French language are required.Key activities associated with this role are:

• Procuring goods and services for various products and services
• Perform and evaluate source solicitations including RFQ/RFP/RFI and reverse auction
• Perform and analyze periodic and ad hoc procurement reports from various procurement systems (i.e. ARIBA)
• Perform cost structure analysis and negotiate best price with suppliers
• Drive and achieve cost saving for sourcing program and purchase opportunity
• Setup/handle/manage Standard/Customized related Contracts
• Seek out opportunities to introduce process improvements to drive efficiency
• Participate in cost take out (CTO) initiatives for major clients.
• Support and deploy sourcing council initiatives and programs in day-to-day activities
• Build strong, strategic supplier relationships and measure/analyze supplier performance and quality
• Develop, maintain and manage collaborative client relationship

Contractual

• Creating base agreements for net new suppliers as well as managing onboarding process requirements
• Creating Participation Agreements (PA) off existing global agreements for Canada specific purchases
• Validating if contracts are applicable to Canada and determine the right clauses for Canada
• Developing Scopes of Work (SOW) from the beginning by understanding the stakeholder’s requirements, supplier’s limitations and Kyndryl’s contractual limitations.
• Working with legal support to ensure Kyndryl’s risk is mitigated

Stakeholder

• Constant interlocking with stakeholders to follow up on their requirements to ensure a thorough understanding and also to keep them up to date on progress
• Stakeholders are across multiple functions within Kyndryl – high volume, medium to high complex requirements, development of complex contracts and very demanding teams
• Stakeholders expect procurement to help walk them through the process
• Forging 90%+ client sat with clients
• Providing ideas on how to process the requirements easier… person must know all our systems, processes and our stakeholder’s strategies.

Supplier Relationship

• Interlocking with the supplier – teleconferences – co-coordinating stakeholder, procurement and supplier on calls
• Annual reviews of the contracts, and ensuring that a positive Audit posture is maintained at all times, including required documentation
• Setting up Supplier meetings when warranted
• Ensuring Account payments are up to date and Tax allocations are correct

Business controls

• Annual contract reviews
• Source Selection and Fair Value, usage and compliance
• Catalogue maintenance
• Ensure adherence to Procurement’s Governance of policies and related execution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and French languages
• Legal background in software added asset
• Prior knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain processes
• Strong PC Skills in Excel, Power Point, Word
• Strong financial/analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Business acumen
• Self-motivated, team player, creative, well organized
• Excellent leadership potential
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Location is Markham (Ontario) or Montreal (Quebec) only
