For more information please visit www.calgarycoop.com/careers.OpportunityWere currently seeking a Produce Supervisor to join our Produce team! This position reports directly to the Produce Manager, and some of the main responsibilities include;

  • Provide customer service and maintain positive customer relations through the proper handling of customer questions, comments. requests and complaints.
  • Effectively work in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
  • Plan and perform all aspects of Produce functions including but not limited to: stocking, displays and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensure display presentation and proper stock levels are maintained
  • Responsible for all aspects of receiving including reviewing/verifying and authorize appropriate invoices, returns, transfers, claims and proper storage of products
  • Responsible for organizing and conducting inventory
  • Provide supervision/direction to staff in Produce
What skills and abilities will you need to be considered
  • Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Six (6) months of produce retail experience, with strong product knowledge
  • Basic receiving, ordering and merchandising skills
  • Basic Word, Excel and Outlook
What skills and abilities will set you apart from others
  • Related post secondary education
  • Experience in supervising others, planning and organizing events, projects or programs
  • Kronos knowledge
