Click Here: The Gibson WayInterestedThe Producer Services Analyst will provide analytical support to the Producer Services (PS) team and may perform other assignments as deemed appropriate. They will gain a solid understanding of the Producer Services strategies and duties, and will assist in generating and validating reports from internal and external stakeholders.What Youll be Doing
  • Prepares monthly PnL calculations, tracks customer contract performance (comparing and tracking contracted monthly volumes vs. projected deliveries within the month of delivery), and assists with settlement related duties with various other commercial teams (internal and external)
  • Assists with Producer Services contract entry support during estimate process
  • Prepares Producer Services PnL calculation through extracting data from RightAngle (with assistance from the Commercial Services team) and provide an analysis.
  • Prepares analysis requests from our customers, forward to Shipper Services and follow up on errors/corrections.
  • Prepares and manages Producer Over/Short summaries, send to PS Representative for communication with Producer.
  • Maintains various models (WTI, FX, Marks, WADFs) and calculates apportionment volume by Producer.
  • Consolidates information/reports and upload into Sharepoint / Power BI.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  • Completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Commerce or Economics, with 2 – 4 years experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using MS Office systems.
  • RightAngle experience is beneficial.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stay self motivated, take initiative and work in a fast paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • This position is based in an office setting – sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, bending.
  • Gibson has a hybrid work environment for Calgary-based employees (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we work from the Calgary Head Office). On Monday and Friday work can be done remotely.
