Job Description

Our Calgary client is a leader in food production and packaging, and they are looking for a motivating Production Supervisor to lead and coach their well-skilled production team.   • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a production/ manufacturing facility, experience in the food or beverage industry would be well-regarded
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory control, quality control
  • Passionate about working with teams, with a proven track record to develop and motivate employees
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge and awareness of food handling and, health and safety practices
Responsibilities include,
  • Supervision and scheduling of production line staff
  • Post-secondary education in a food-related discipline, and/or Operations Management
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and ensure the safety of all employees
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production variances and issues
  • Coach and mentor staff to achieve optimal efficiency
  • Provide routine repairs and maintenance of line and batch equipment
  • Work a Monday – Friday schedule on a rotating shift basis
