Along with our partners we offer innovators everything they need to get started and get growing: educational programming, community, advice and a globally-connected network of resources.At heart we are trusted collaborators with our partners that work alongside us, and are tireless advocates for every innovator that comes through our doors.The OpportunityReporting to the Director, Academy, as Program Coordinator for Alberta Catalyzer the work you do will be impactful for our founders, the startup community and for our organization. Alongside the Program Manager, you will contribute to the seamless and efficient delivery of the program including in order to help advance founders of early-stage and innovation-driven startups to achieve significant growth. If you thrive on organization, are obsessed with processes and operations and can balance assisting the needs of others, this role just might be for you!What you’ll be doing: - Assist in the coordination, implementation and delivery of the program working closely with the Program Manager and program delivery partners.- Manage program logistics and intake processes, including coordinating input from team members and updating information in program tools.- Provide administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for program participants, facilitators and coaches.- Coordinate logistics with program partners, coaches, and participants, and distribute program materials and make improvements as required.- Create and update resources, forms, work plans and meeting invitations through appropriate software tools (Google, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Accelerator App).- Collect feedback from program participants (formally and informally) and work alongside the Program Manager to assess and implement feedback.- Develop community initiatives designed to facilitate connections between participants.- Support virtual and on-site program sessions and/or events at the Platform Innovation Centre, with a possibility of travel to other Alberta markets as required.- Contribute to an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible work environment aiding in the founder experience.What you will bring: - Proven ability to manage products or programs in an organized and detailed manner to keep projects to planned timelines.- Strong communication skills to be able to work with participants, stakeholders and team members both internally and externally to ensure efficient program delivery.- Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail and can execute with a high degree of accuracy, while managing multiple priorities concurrently.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment where competing priorities and iteration is the norm, without dropping the ball.- Understand how to effectively derive and measure results from the programs we deliver and how we might learn and iterate from those results.- Ability to facilitate collaboration among multiple parties with disparate views and objectives and align the group toward a cohesive outcome.- Be a community builder to establish relationships with multi-faceted stakeholder groups and key partners.- You are proactive and seek to solve problems before they arise and without being asked.- We are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats that will go the extra mile.Qualifications: - 2 years’ experience in program coordination or a related coordination role.- Competency in G-Suite, Asana, Slack, Eventbrite, HubSpot are considered an asset.Your compensation package: - Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000- Comprehensive health, vision and dental benefits including a Health Spending Account, Wellness Account and Employee Assistance Programs.- Maple: Online Doctors, virtual help and prescriptions in Canada.- Up to 6% Group RRSP matching program & Group Life Insurance.- Fridays off during the months of July and August & three weeks paid vacation plus one week paid vacation in December/January.- Maternity/Parental leave top-up.What’s it like to work at PlatformOur team is passionate about supporting startups and innovators no matter where they’re at, but is equally enthusiastic about seeing our partners thrive as they deliver on our shared vision for Calgary.
