Job Description

Reporting to the Project Manager (s), Shane Homes Multi-Family is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to Shane Multi-Family’s expanding construction team with 100% customer satisfaction being the top priority.Shane Multi-Family is the multi-family division of the Shane Homes Group of Companies. Shane Multi-Family is constructing premier apartment style condominiums in communities throughout Calgary and Airdrie. We encourage our employees to continuously improve their knowledge and skill sets through empowerment in the workplace and providing additional job training as needed.We reward our employees for their hard work and dedication towards meeting company goals with our unique profit-sharing program.Shane Homes strives to build a culture focused on family values, community involvement and continuous innovation within the home building industry.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Work closely with and assist the assigned Project Manager(s) and Project Coordinator(s) with day-to-day duties of project construction with focus on administration and accountingMaintain and track as applicable all project documentation, including plan and specification coordination, scopes of work, tender documents, estimates, trade contracts, contract changes, purchase orders issuedAssist in writing, compilation and distribution of trade contract agreementsDevelop and maintain contact lists for both Outlook and specific group contact listsAssist the project team with development of safety forms and administrationPrepare new project files for office and site officesPerform photocopying, scanning and printing assignments as requiredCoordinates, attends, records and distributes meeting minutes as required for the projectEnsure milestone and deadline dates are established and enforced relative to activities and responsibilitiesEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards and quality standardsPerform other duties as assigned by the department Manager or leadership team based on business needs.Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 1-3 years Project Coordinator experience within the multi-family apartment residential construction industry is a necessity. The successful candidate must work well with peers as well as trades and suppliers. Excellence in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a requirement.Ability to manage multiple ad hoc requests and rapidly changing prioritiesAbility to work in a team environment as well as independently while assuming responsibilitySuperior communication and strong writing skills are a must with the ability to represent the project team in a professional mannerAttention to detail in document accuracy with additional traits of patience, focus and willingness, to ensure that quality is never compromisedExcellent organizational skillsExcellent proficiency in computer systems and software, including MS Excel, MS Word and OutlookValid driver’s licenseCompany PerksShane Homes offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package including an exceptional profit-sharing program.Excellent work environmentContinuous training, education, and job skill enhancementReward and recognition programProfit sharing programWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
