Job Description

Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on safety, quality, scheduling, and client satisfaction.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesProject Leadershipamp; Communication

  • Lead and manage project delivery teams across all phases of construction
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and trade partners
  • Provide regular project updates, including schedule, budget, risks, and progress photos
  • Oversee shop drawing submissions, RFI tracking, and document control
  • Chair and attend project meetings as needed, including design coordination and commissioning
Contractamp; Design Management
  • Interpret and manage project contracts, identifying risks and ensuring compliance
  • Support field teams in managing trade partner performance and non-compliance documentation
  • Coordinate project insurance, bonding, and warranty documentation
  • Provide feedback on design constructability, schedule, and cost implications
  • Assist in identifying gaps or conflicts in contract documents
Procurementamp; Financial Oversight
  • Oversee procurement of trade partners and suppliers; manage tender process in coordination with estimating
  • Identify long-lead items and material availability risks
  • Monitor and approve trade progress billing and issue owner billing and holdbacks
  • Complete monthly cost forecasting and WIP reporting
  • Support cost recovery documentation, change order management, and claims resolution
Team Developmentamp; Mentorship
  • Provide mentorship to junior project team members
  • Encourage collaboration, continuous improvement, and cross-functional learning
  • Conduct regular performance discussions and promote a positive team culture
Business Development Support
  • Support pursuit of new business opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally during client interactions and industry engagements
