Job Description

Current ENMAX employees are encouraged to apply through their internal Workday access.Posted: January 3, 2023Closing Date: January 13, 2023Position Type: PermanentUnion: CUPEReporting to the PMO Manager, the Project Reporting Analyst is responsible to provide specialized guidance, reports and insights to business leaders. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the analysis and presentation of data from work management systems, including but not limited to Maximo, Primavera, SharePoint, and Denodo. The Project Reporting Analyst will develop performance dashboards and reports, visual data representations using charts, graphs and other diagrams related to business initiatives. This role is accountable for the data integrity, past and present, to develop crucial metrics and reporting functionality that better informs and optimizes key businesses decisions across the organization.Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the suite of Project Delivery reports in line with ENMAX’s Project Delivery reporting measurement architecture for all in-flight projects
  • Prepare, create and maintain Portfolio reports on key elements including but not limited to schedules, inventory, costs, performance and identify variance between planned and actual, throughout the year
  • Create complex and comprehensive BI reporting packages and dashboards; participate in the process of designing, developing, refining, and testing dashboards; Maintain and support data analytics and reporting solutions; Responsible for the oversight of queries, templates, and BI reporting inventory
  • Monitor the PMO portfolio dataset for quality, integrity completeness and accuracy; Work with functional managers to drive disciplined ownership of data quality; Assist with the development of data quality corrections and automations; Identify and leverage opportunities to improve data quality processes
  • Ensure documentation for PMO reporting process is complete and responsibilities are up to date, accurate, available and known; proactively identify areas for optimization and innovation
  • Provide ongoing support to end users of the PMO reporting processes as required
  • Act as back-up for all other PMO reporting functions
  • Perform other reporting and PMO duties as assigned
Education Required:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant technical or business field
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role
  • 3+ years of experience in programming would be an asset
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Data Analytics and Power BI skills
  • Understanding of Maximo, Adaptive Insights, SQL, Denodo, P6 and other systems considered an asset

  • Employ good understanding of reporting and BI tools, platforms, and techniques as well as strong knowledge of various data sources (and ability to connect to multiple data sources and systems relevant to the business unit supported)
