Our people and their families matter to us.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Director, QA/QC, the successful candidate will be accountable for reviewing turnover documentation, updating project databases and drawings, and reviewing quality databases and achieving the required outcomes with time spans of up to 3 months. Additionally, the successful candidate will:Revise piping drawings in Acorn to reflect the layoutsTrack and log project documentationEnter data into the Acorn drafting program, using Google SheetsCommunication with the QA/QC team and external clients in a professional mannerEnsure ongoing compliance with local, national and international standards & legislationAdopt and incorporate quality methods into their workAssist Parts and Materials Controller with receiving paperworkOrganize and file shop drawings and reportsRequirementsIn this role, the successful candidate will have:Relevant diploma or degree is an assetMinimum 1 year of experience working in a Quality Assurance (or similar) roleExperience working in oil & gas; construction or manufacturing is an assetExperience with Google G-Suite, Acorn Piping software, and Bluebeam is an assetStrong problem identification and problem resolution skillsAbility to review numerous types of documentation for errors, discrepancies and missing informationStrong organizational skills, with the ability to constantly shift priorities as operational demands changeOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalBenefitsExtended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)RPP - Group RRSPGroup Life - AD&D - Critical Illness InsuranceEmployee DiscountsTraining & DevelopmentEmployee Assistance Program - CounselingWe would like to thank all candidates for their interest; however, only candidates who are selected for interviews will be contacted.
