Job Description

Lovse Surveys is looking to bring on its newest team member to help take care of our customers in our busy front office and administration department!Our office hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with an hour each day between noon and 1pm and the receptionist can expect to include the following tasks as part of their daily activities,

  • greeting and signing in guests in our front office,
  • answering the phones and directing phone calls,
  • answering and directing email inquiries,
  • providing pricing to customers for basic services,
  • taking payments from customers for services,
  • searching and entering information into our company database,
  • searching the land titles website, downloading and saving land titles and documents into our file server,
  • entering jobs into our schedule program,
  • administrative duties such as writing professional letters,
  • sending and receiving shipments,
  • organizing the document courier packages to be sent to clients,
  • using client portals to accept and schedule jobs for completion,
The successful candidate for this position will need to prove themselves to be,
  • professional,
  • well mannered,
  • punctual,
  • able to work well under pressure,
  • able to work alone or in groups to accomplish daily tasks,
  • good at communicating in person and digitally,
  • able and willing to learn and be trained,
  • self motivated,
  • good at conducting internet searches to find information quickly,
The following skills although not essential, will be given preferential treatment in the hiring process,
  • Windows 10/11,
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications including but not limited to;
    • Microsoft Teams,
    • Outlook (Desktop)
    • Word,
    • Excel,
    • Planner,
  • internet portals such as,
    • SPIN2 (Alberta Land titles)
    • SupplyPro,
