Job Description

RECREATION GYMNASTICSINSTRUCTORS (Part-time)Do you love gymnastics and working with children Does a fun and creative team-orientedenvironment appeal to you Trico Centre for Family Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic,outgoing service oriented individual to instruct a very busy recreational gymnastics (tumbling)class. If you are searching for a great part-time position where you can put your creative flair towork this may be the job for you. We have a variety of hours including daytime and weekends.Responsibilities:

  • Prepares quality program planning for preschool gymnastics classes
  • Delivers effective preschool gymnastic classes
  • Provides excellent customer service and feedback
  • Oversees participants in activities and liaises with patrons on progress
  • Provides a safe and fun learning environment for participants
  • Documents, and communicates facility and program information to customers
  • Implements first aid procedures when required
  • Shows a positive and professional attitude
  • Set-up and take-down of equipment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one (1) year instructing gymnastics
  • Level one (1) gymnastics certification preferred
  • Minimum one-year Program planning and delivery experience is essential
  • Current First Aid and CPR preferred
  • Must be able to work scheduled program times
  • Current Police Security Clearance and Vulnerable Sector search mandatory
  • High Five Training is a definite asset
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Punctual, reliable and must be able to work the required schedule
  • Enjoys working with people of all ages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and enjoys teaching
  • Hardworking, professional and a team player
  • Organized and a strong attention to detail
