Job Description

  • Ideally located in the Greater Calgary Area, the RVP builds market position in Alberta by locating, developing, and defining business relationships;
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
  • Locates or proposes potential business opportunities by working closely with potential partners (largely mortgage brokers) and staff;
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities to build a strong pipeline of growth;
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Develop, implement and maintain a strategic plan to advance sales growth of mortgage originations;
  • Formulate a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
  • Provides market feedback to the Company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and to provide an accurate pulse of the market;
  • Effectively manage, support and continually update key stakeholders with key reports; and
  • Other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Post Secondary Education preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the mortgage industry
  • Deep understanding of the mortgage broker channel and mortgage products will be viewed as an asset.
  • Broker License an asset.
