Longview Aviation Services (LAS) was established in 2018 as an Approved Maintenance Organization in partnership with Viking Air Limited to launch the CL-415EAF “Enhanced Aerial Firefighter” aircraft upgrade and modification program. The CL-415EAF combines the proven performance of the CL-215 airframe with modern upgrades to create the next generation of the world’s only purpose-built aerial firefighter and multi-mission amphibious platform.At LAS, We Believe… 1. Finding a better wayWe are looking for a 1-year term, full-time, Monday - Friday shift.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Create work scopes, work orders, request quotations and place purchase orders in support of rotable components during overhaul and rework activities.Create work scopes, work orders, request quotations and place purchase orders in support of aircraft tasks completed by 3rd party vendors.Update and utilize the "Visual" ERP system as required.Liaise with the production team to provide information on materials and the rotables schedule.Research and recommend modifications to the materials and rotables program.Obtain, evaluate and compare quotes for repair, overhaul, exchange, and identify replacement options within budget and schedule.Liaise with all departments during the modification program to ensure the rotable turnaround time and 3rd party work aligns with the schedule.Monitor daily workflow and resource requirements and provide timely feedback to the Procurement Lead.Carry-out a pre-work meeting with production, and other departments to ensure they are all briefed on the work contents and expectations.Carry out post work package analysis to ensure that any problems encountered are corrected.Provide a weekly status report detailing rotable material and 3rd party contracts.Issue purchase orders to vendors as required.Track vendor performance through KPI's and highlight poor performance to the Procurement Lead.Other duties as allocated by the Procurement Lead.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Proven ability to work independently and in a team.Experience with root cause analysis, especially in an AMO environment is an asset.Experience working in maintenance and modification projects is an asset.Experience working with and managing life limited parts is an asset.Proficient in Microsoft office products with advanced functions in Excel.Experience or knowledge of CL-215 aircraft would be an asset.Experience of enterprise resource planning programs would be an asset.Bachelor's degree of equivalent in Supply Chain Management preferred.Education/experience with aviation would be an asset.Physically capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. regularly and sitting/standing for extended periods of time.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUCompetitive compensation package - excellent health and dental benefits provided after three months of continuous employment; premiums are company-paid except for Long-Term Disability.RRSP matching up to 4% after six months of continuous employment.Paid day off on your birthday after three months of continuous employment.Monthly celebrations - ice cream, treats etc.Flexible start and finish times.Work from home options.Awesome team.Free parking.Growing company.Longview Aviation Services is an equal opportunity employerPlease note that only those selected for an interview will be contactedp34lvyHn3X
