Job Description

Safety Administrator - (2310672)The Opportunity:Canadian Natural has an excellent opportunity for a Safety Administrator to join our Calgary team. Reporting to the Safety Lead, you will provide admin support to the North American Operations Health and Safety team. If you are a self-starter, like to think outside the box and provide creative ideas and solutions, then this role is for you.Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare a variety of reports from the Maximo database, track incident trends, and provide detailed and accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly safety reports
  • Provide detail oriented data capture and review of incidents
  • Provide exceptional support with a proactive, hands-on approach thereby supporting the field’s ability to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Tracking and maintaining field Safety team training tickets
  • Open invoice, review invoices for accuracy and apply applicable coding as required
  • Effectively manage emails and multiple email and respond to those needing immediate attention with clear communication

  • Job location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
  • Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Regular Policy

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years admin related industry experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a Grade 12 or GED
  • Strong level of proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • Maximo and Tableau knowledge considered an asset
  • Proven professional written & verbal communication skills (English) in a corporate environment
  • Strong background in database management required for maintaining database integrity with the ability to handle multiple large projects on a timely basis in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence, initiative and confidentiality
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to change with the environment
  • Superior organizational, critical thinking and time management skills
