Job Description

Your TeamAs a Sales Associate, you champion the Customers for Life mindset by being a subject matter expert for your community and create personalized, memorable experiences throughout the homebuying journey. As an integral member of the team, you continue to develop educational relationships with prospective homebuyers and current homeowners.Your journey begins by supporting your Community Manager throughout the sales home buying process, maintain MLS listings, assist with tours and answer common questions from customers. You seamlessly connect with Sales and Marketing, Design, Construction, Customer Care, Purchasing, and Accounting teams as needed throughout the customer journey.Your Key DeliverablesSupporting the end-to-end Customer Journey from entering into an agreement to closing and supporting the customer during key construction stages into the living in their new home.Be the central point of contact for the customer, liaising with other Brookfield team members to create a consistent and seamless customer journey .Consider special circumstances or requests from customers as needed, providing an opportunity to elevate the home buying experience in certain situations, such as offering offsite closings.Support the Community Manager in agreement processing and transition to Customer Care.Be well-versed in Brookfield's product information and features to help customers in their decision making process.Ensuring all paperwork and appropriate follow up occurs in an efficient and timely fashion.Represent the customer at weekly/bi-weekly community team meetings with Construction teams.Manage all aspects of reporting, such as sales reports, AVID ratings, etc.Familiarize new homeowners with their neighborhood shopping centers, banks, churches, schools, daycare centers, furniture stores, gyms, dry cleaners, restaurants, libraries, pharmacies, hospitals, hardware store, post office, movie theatres, veterinarians, interior decorator and more.Ensure a professional atmosphere by conducting activities in a fair and equitable manner always.Frequently research the respective region home market; review and compare Brookfield Residential's products on an on-going basis.Prospect and network for new business and customer opportunities.Recognize that this role is better equipped to satisfy customers with an understanding of the Homes Divisions' processes beyond sales, including: Construction, Estimating, Marketing, and Administration, and that this knowledge will involve ongoing communications with these groupsProvide input for and on innovative marketing solutions, alternative channels and points of product differentiation.Must HavesYou are someone who demonstrates a genuine willingness to help others and are motivated by building and nurturing relationships. You proactively advocate for the customer while continually enhancing strong internal relationships with other customer facing teams. You are a relationship builder and are proactive in ensuring the customer's needs are met.You take pride the quality and accuracy of your work to ensure customers understand where they are in their home buying experience. You have a strong attention to detail and get excited when things are organized.
