We know it starts with people like you, so take a chance and start with us.Job Number: REQ4274Location: Calgary or Edmonton, ABApply by: Tuesday, July 5, 2022Paygrade: L-OTHSystem Title: Technical Analyst 7# Positions available: 1Leader Name: Dion LalondeAs ATBs next SAP Cloud Basis Analyst, you will utilize your strong information technology, SAP Basis Administration, Database (HANA, Sybase) and OS (AIX, Linux) Administration skills as part of the IT operations team within Technology Enablement. This position is responsible for supporting the SAP technical environment, and the setup, configuration and monitoring of ATB’s SAP Environment both on premise and in CloudResponsibilities

• Providing system administration and infrastructure related support and management for the SAP Application Services (i.e., Portal, BI, PI/PO, Fiori);
• Administration of both ABAP and J2EE stacks
• Perform SAP implementations and migrations to cloud
• Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning of a complex SAP environment
• Responding to and resolving infrastructure-related incidents and problems;
• Monitors and evaluates overall system performance and day-to-day system activity on servers.
• Analyzes production and test system problems, determines causes and takes timely corrective action.
• Works with the OS (Linux, Unix) Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Assist the Database Administrator in design and support of the production and test databases.
• Ensure changes are performed within the change control process for the application and architecture.
• Recommends and implements policies and standards and ensures adherence to security procedures.
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation.
• Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation
• Support for Disaster Recovery as required.
• Provides on-call support.

RequirementsCore Technical Skills

• A minimum of one 8-15 years of SAP Basis Administration experience
• SAP Basis Administrator Certification or Professional Designation
• Knowledge of AIX, SUSE Linux experience is required.
• Must have some experience in DB2 Database administration.
• Must have some experience in HANA Database administration.
• Must have in-depth understanding of TCP/IP communications.
• Have cloud knowledge experience (eg GCP Essentials)
• Knowledge of good system management principles is required.
• General knowledge of other operating systems such as Windows, Vmware, Linux is also a requirement.
• Administration experience relating to mission critical network services (Authentication/Active Directory Services, E-Mail Services, File Services, Print Services, Terminal Services, Telecommunication Services, Storage Area Network Services, Back-Up Services, VM Services, WAN/LAN Services);
• Ability to provide a high level of Customer Service.
