We know it starts with people like you, so take a chance and start with us.Job Number: REQ3894System Title: Technical Analyst 5/6Location: CalgaryApply by: Thursday, May 12, 2022Paygrade: K/J-OTH# Positions available: 1Leader Name: Albert LeeAs ATB’s next SAP Release Analyst, you will utilize your information technology skills to maintain the stability and integrity of the transport paths and processes within both the Production Support and Project landscapes.This position is responsible for supporting the transport release process for ATB’s SAP Environment, both on premise and in the Cloud. Using the Active Control tool you will review technical content of transports to minimize risk of conflicts which could negatively impact the ATB CORE Banking system. You will oversee the ongoing movement of transports for sustainment purposes and will also collaborate on major Project incentives and System Upgrades as required.You will assist with the planning and implementation of new & re-aligned transport paths and processes for major projects in flight and for use with ongoing transport leveling to Project environments. Effective communication with Support, Development and Project Teams is a critical part of this role.The Release Analyst provides periodic reporting and key statistics on transport flow and volume, to track success rates and help identify problem areas. Will train in the area of SAP release management for those with a solid IT background/education. Occasional after hours support will be required.The Release Analyst troubleshoots and redesigns for modifications and new customizations flagged by operations analysts to optimize functionality of tech stack, including SAP applications.Responsibilities:

• Supports one more more applications and helps business achieve goals by evaluating and modifying said applications to meet customer needs; usually serves as SME
• May include basic development, testing, or system maintenance
• Provides basic tech support to resolve problems, determine root cause, and/or escalate
• Partners with business and IT peers to construct and operate built-for-use platforms

• Responding to and resolving system-related incidents and problems.
• Monitors and evaluates overall system performance and day-to-day system activity on servers.
• Ensure changes are performed within the change control process for the application and architecture.
• Recommends and implements policies and standards and ensures adherence to security procedures.
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation.
• Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation.
• Provide administrator support for SAP transport management tool.
• Support for Disaster Recovery as required.
• Provides occasional on-call and after hours support when required.

RequirementsAccreditations:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent
• Working knowledge in application programming languages would be beneficial (e.g. SAP ABAP)

Core Technical Skills:

• Business analysis - including data gathering, analytical thinking and insights analysis
• Data governance - including master data domain, dataflow design), data quality management, data cataloging and lineage
• Data privacy & regulation
• Metadata management - Establishing policies and processes that ensure information can be integrated, accessed, shared, linked, analyzed and maintained to best effect across the organization
• Knowledge of SAP systems such as CRM / AO, banking services, S4 Hana or PE
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP development
