This is the ATB way.Job Number: REQ2621Location: Calgary (Campus)Apply by: Wednesday October 20th, 2021Paygrade: UR-Under Review# Positions available: 1Leader Name: Albert LeeAs ATB’s next SAP Solution Manager Technical Analyst , you will utilize your information technology, system configuration, SAP Basis Administration, DB (DB2,HANA) and OS(AIX,Linux) Administration skills as part of the IT Operations team within Technology Enablement.This position is responsible for supporting the setup, configuration, code transport, and monitoring of ATB’s SAP Environment both on premise and Cloud in relation to the SAP Solution Manager system.The Technical Analyst troubleshoots and redesigns for new modifications and customizations flagged by operations analysts to optimize functionality of tech stack, including SAP applications.Responsibilities:

• Configures and maintains information systems and applications
• Supports one more more applications and helps business achieve goals by evaluating and modifying said applications to meet customer needs; usually serves as SME
• May include basic development, testing, or system maintenance
• Provides basic tech support to resolve problems, determine root cause, and/or escalate
• Partners with business and IT peers to construct and operate built-for-use platforms

• Providing second tier system administration and infrastructure related support and management for the SAP Application Services of SAP Solution Manager system.
• Daily system administration, maintenance of monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Responding to and resolving system-related incidents and problems.
• Monitors and evaluates overall system performance and day-to-day system activity on servers.
• Analyzes production and test system problems, determines causes and takes timely corrective action.
• Works with the OS (Linux, Unix) Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Assist the Database Administrator in design and support of the production and test databases.
• Ensure changes are performed within the change control process for the application and architecture.
• Recommends and implements policies and standards and ensures adherence to security procedures.
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation.
• Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation.
• Provide administrator support for SAP transport management tool.
• Support for Disaster Recovery as required.
• Provides on-call support.

RequirementsAccreditations:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent
• Working knowledge in application programming languages (e.g. SAP ABAP)

Core Technical Skills:

• Application maintenance & monitoring- including application support, assessment, troubleshooting, modifications, performance improvement, and security
• Application design - defining how an application will work and what features and components it will have
• Business analysis - including data gathering, analytical thinking and insights analysis
• Data governance - including master data domain, dataflow design), data quality management, data cataloguing and lineage
• Data privacy & regulation
• Metadata management - Establishing policies and processes that ensure information can be integrated, accessed, shared, linked, analyzed and maintained to best effect across the organization
• Knowledge of SAP systems such as CRM / AO, banking services, S4 Hana or PE
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP development
