The Park Kitchen and Bar in Aspen is looking for experienced Servers to add to our soon to be open restaurant! Ensuring that our guests have a positive experience is our number one goal. Servers are responsible for several functions including, but not limited to, providing first class customer service to all guests in a prompt and professional manner, educating guests on menu items, processing transactions, payments, while maintaining a level of standard for cleanliness in all areas of the venue.We are looking to add personable, upbeat and confident individual with a problem-solving mindset.Team player with a great multi tasking skill and eager to learnWell organized with a strong attention to detail. Sundays are a must.Duties and Essential Responsibilities- Greet guests in a prompt and welcoming manner- Inform guests of all specials and menu changes- Be prepared to make quality recommendations to all guests- Extensive food and ever knowledge on all items being served through the restaurant and the ability to accommodate all and any dietary requests and allergies- Deliver food and beverage from the bar and kitchen to guests in a timely manner- Perform side duties which many include but is not limited to: polishing cutlery, glassware, plate ware during and at the end of your shift- Maintain a level of cleanliness of all service areas through out the venue- Ensure that quality check of tables with guests are up to company standard with the food and service.- Respond promptly and courteously to all requests- If a situation arises concerning a patron of the venue, ensure that the manager is involved right away to find a resolution to the situation- Prepare final bill, present check to guest and process the payment- Always be ready and willing to assist fellow servers whenever a situation arises- Always be ready and willing to assist servers and serving assistants by clearing and resetting tables throughout the restaurant. Working together as a team is essential- Ensure guests are greeted as they are entering and departing the venue- Be ready to provide support as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the General Manager and management team- Complete cash out at the end of the shift- Execute any other tasks that are requiredQualifications- Wine and cocktail knowledge is considered an asset- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and develop relationships with employees, partners, vendors and customers daily- Must have a knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions- Pro serve certification is required- Ability to maintain professionalism, control and composure in stressful and challenging situations- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of times- Be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food frequentlyJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
