Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipper / Receiver is responsible for: picking items to fill orders, preparing shipments (outgoing and incoming), loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, verifying incoming orders and organizing the incoming stock in the warehouse, inventory counts, and assisting customers with inquiries.· Pick orders and prepare products for shipment – outgoing orders· Loading and unloading trucks· Sort, check, and distribute incoming orders to the appropriate storage areas· Inspect and verify incoming inventory against invoices and record any shortages and reject any damaged goods· Operate counter balance clamp truck, pallet jacks and lift trucks· Inventory counts· Accurate data entry including scanning and countingWorking Conditions· Working with or around moving mechanical machines including counter balance clamp trucks , pallet jacks, and forklifts· Varying noise levels that can be loud at certain times· Fast paced environment in which adherence to all occupational health and safety procedures is critical· Some manual lifting requiredLocation: 3201 Ogden Road Southeast, Calgary, Alberta T2G 4N4Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
