Job Description

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently an immediate opening for SKID STEER OPERATOR position.Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Skid Steer Operator
  • Ability to operate a skid steer in a safe manner
  • Ability to work safely and stay alert to surroundings at all times
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Performing routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation of the skid steer
  • Advising foremen and the shop of any issues or repairs are required on assigned equipment
  • Using an skid steer for slab on grade, preparation of gravels, fine grading and finishing, loading trucks, material handling, back filling, land clearing, rough grading and stripping
  • Willingness and ability to assist the ground crew when skid steer is not in use
  • Reading and interpreting project drawings relevant to site work activities and projects
  • Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties
  • Withstand working outside, on uneven ground for longer periods of time and in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Testing.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation
