The SAP Business Systems Specialist – SD, FIAR and FICA will gather requirements, analyze, estimate, prioritize, design, build, test, implement and maintain the required functionality within the respective SAP modules in support of business processes and procedures.To achieve this you will possess a post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. In addition, you will have a minimum of 7 years related experience, including systems/applications development and support, business systems analysis, systems project management, of which 5+ years’ experience are directly related to implementation and support of SAP Enterprise systems, specifically in the areas of SD, FIAR and FICA.The Specialist Business Systems is accountable for gathering, understanding and documenting business processes, and the requirements and specifications needed to recommend and implement a solution that will enable the organization to achieve its goals.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIESMaintaining and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 as a part of the IS Revenue team;Analyzing, developing, testing and implementing SD, FIAR and FICA functionality for enhancements, new upcoming projects, and support pack updates;Creating and /or updating SAP SD, FIAR and FICA configuration and business process procedures documentation;Providing SD, FIAR and FICA problem resolution assistance and support to various Business departments for SAP ECC 6.0 footprint;Providing implementation assistance for approved SAP ECC 6.0 footprint, enhancement and support pack updates, Online Support System notes and transports in the area of SD, FIAR and FICA;Logging into the group's Service Now system, regarding reported queries, problems and change requests related to SAP SD, FIAR and FICA including documenting resolution information;Preparing and presenting material for fit/gap presentation, knowledge transfer sessions, functionality sessions and analysis related to SAP SD, FIAR and FICA;Developing and preparing knowledge transfer documentation relevant to SAP ECC 6.0 footprint for SD, FIAR and FICA functionality and delivering knowledge transfer sessions to group employees and subject matter experts (SME);Developing detailed test plans and scripts;Involvement in new Project delivery solutions in relation to the above functional areas.POSITION REQUIREMENTSUniversity degree or equivalent in Finance, Commerce/Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science;A minimum 8+ years of IT experience;Experience in configuring, implementing and providing ongoing support of SAP version 6.0 Enterprise or higher;A minimum of 5 years’ experience in configuring, implementing and maintaining the SAP SD, FIAR and FICA module in Enterprise Central Component (ECC);Good understanding of SAP module(s) and the integration between modules;Deep understanding of the project governance and solution delivery processes using solution delivery roadmap;Experience utilizing the business process modeling function in SAP Solution Manager;Experience utilizing the LSMW Toolset;Understanding of Hana 2.0 and Hana S/4 and ABAP skills are an asset;Fundamental knowledge of railway operations and processes an asset.WHAT CP HAS TO OFFER:Flexible and competitive benefits packageCompetitive company pension planEmployee Share Purchase PlanPerformance Incentive ProgramAnnual Fitness SubsidyADDITIONAL INFORMATION:As an employer with national presence, the possibility does exist that the location of your position may be changed based on organizational requirements.Background Investigation:The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances:Criminal history checkReference checkManagement Conductor Program:Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CP.
