Visit cpr.ca to see the rail advantages of CP.PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONTo assist and support the Disability Management, Health Services and Benefits teams through the analysis and assessment of various metrics, reporting and system management to support the effective delivery of programs..POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • The position provides strategic reporting to Disability Management, Health Services and Benefits teams to support long and short term objective planning and program design.
  • Interpret and analyze relevant data to identify opportunities and focus areas and prepare strategic dashboards and reports for company leadership and subject matter experts to assist in their decision-making.
  • Assists in the design and continuous improvement of the Disability Management and Health Services case management systems to meet broad risk management objectives, obligations and internal cross-functional needs.
  • Audit current processes to drive process improvements, assist in the implementation and documentation of process changes, and liaise where applicable with other stakeholders.
  • Interpreting and analyzing relevant data to identify problem areas and prepare strategic dashboards and reports for company leadership to assist in their decision-making;
  • Generating regular and ad-hoc reports on a variety of KPI’s;
  • Research, source, document and prepare reports to be used for both Disability Management, Health Services, Benefits and WCB purposes;
  • General administrative duties that may include;
    • Process incoming physician invoicing for all regions;
    • Assist in the processing of incoming WCB invoicing for all regions;
    • Interact with CP’s Benefits team and provide support as needed;
    • Interact with Management and other stakeholders as required;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • A university degree or college diploma in related field, ie business, industrial management, finance, accounting, human resources
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with strong knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience in developing, analyzing and reporting metrics;
  • Ability to form solid work relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset;
  • Understanding of WCB/WSIB and liability
  • A strong knowledge of disability management practices for both occupation and non-occupation situations would be considered an asset;
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment;
  • Previous experience in either group insurance or workers’ compensation board is considered an asset;
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
  • Understanding of US benefits and FELA an asset
