We are currently accepting applications for part-time and full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2021-2022 school year to commence August 25, 2021 in a variety of our programs.We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageExcellent professional development opportunitiesSupportive team dynamics and regular opportunities for collaborationExcellent mentorship and leadershipSafe and supportive workplaceConsistent work hoursResponsibilitiesSpecialized Services program: provide strategies and suggestions to parents and team members to target priority areas identified by the family, work in collaboration with a transdisciplinary team, support learning for the child and family members in the school, home and community.ECS program and within our Bright Futures Preschool Programs: working with the team and in collaboration with the teacher to develop strategies, coach and support team members and parents in daily classroom plans. Collaborates with teacher to develop, implement and evaluate Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals.Community Services: therapists collaborate with school staff and families in supporting student access to curriculum and engagement in school activities. They provide consultation, professional development, team collaboration, and direct intervention across various environments. Therapy intervention may be provided in one-to-one settings, in small groups, in classrooms, and universally in schools. These services are provided within school districts, independent schools, private ECS programs and other settings in southern Alberta.Tsuut’ina Education Centre (Calgary) and our Bighorn Health Centre with the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. The SLP will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to provide services available to individuals and families.QualificationsThe ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about working with children, teacher’s and families.A Degree/Masters (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology and proof of registration with ACSLPA are required.Understanding of and/or work experience with Indigenous Peoples and First Nations communities.Flexible and organized with good planning/time management and problem-solving skills.A reliable vehicle, auto insurance with a minimum $2,000,000.00 liability and driver’s license is required.We wish to thank all applicants for their interest only those candidates who have been short listed will be contacted.To ApplyClick the link below:Careers at Renfrew
