Summer Landscaper/Groundskeeper Needed !Come and join the Heart of Excellence!We are looking to recruit a Temporary (summer), full time, Landscaper/Groundskeeper for our 4 locations in Calgary, ABFTE: 1.00 TEMPORARY- Summer ContractHours of Work: 8:00 am to 4:30 p m (Flexible)Wage $17.00 an hourLocation: Brentwood Care Centre 2727 16th Avenue NW Calgary Chinook Care Centre 1261 Glenmore Trail SW Calgary Southwood Care Centre 211 Heritage Drive SE Calgary Kingsland Terrace 835 68 Avenue SW CalgaryClosing Date: May 22, 2022Job Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining an appealing visual look of Intercare’s four Care Centre locations: Southwood (SE), Brentwood (NW), Chinook (SW) and Kingsland (SW)
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns
  • Remove litter and garbage
  • Rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, plant flowers, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Personal transportation is required.
  • Experience with lawn cutting and landscaping considered an asset
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and in an independent setting
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding jobs as required: standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling and lifting
  • Must supply own steel toed boots
