Job Description

Partner Staffing is thequot;go to recruiter quot; for difficult, important, and time sensitive positions in Western Canada.We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee mid- to large-scale commercial construction projects in the Calgary region. The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years of field leadership experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality buildings on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, site safety, and subcontractor coordination.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:·Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met·Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager·Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers·Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OH amp;S regulations·Conduct site inspections to verify quality, progress, and adherence to plans/specifications·Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues·Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, safety meetings, and inspections·Lead regular site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholdersQualifications:·8–10 years of experience in a Superintendent or Site Lead role on commercial projects (e.g., retail, office, mixed-use, institutional)·Journeyman trade certification or construction management diploma considered an asset·Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code, site safety standards, and construction best practices·Demonstrated experience with construction scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore)·Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills·Ability to interpret construction drawings and specificationsBenefitsPartner Staffing is Bringing Talent to Business.With an experienced and dedicated recruitment team, we open doors to opportunities that you may not otherwise know about.We are specialists in the field of providing high quality individuals to the Oilamp; Gas sector, Engineering/Procurement/Construction, and Utilities industries.We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we might be able to promote your career!We are always interested in your referrals as well.We assist recruitment efforts in Environmental, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and Administration
