Job Description

Job PurposeThe Supply Chain Coordinator provides supply chain support to the MI Operations and Engineering & Construction teams and will also assist in the ongoing development of the Projects Supply Chain processes and strategy.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support sourcing requests from MI Operations and Project Managers.
  • Support RF(x) process as required.
  • Maintain and administer new master service agreements.
  • Produce expediting and receiving reports, trace shipments, expedite undelivered goods, and resolve problems and disputes.
  • Compile KPI statistics on vendor performance, participate in producing vendor scorecards, and work with vendors on performance improvement.
  • Assist in the sale or utilization of inventory equipment.
  • Create and manage the processes related to the project procure-to-pay process in ERP system – inc. project set up, purchase order creation, receiving, and invoice matching.
  • Maintain and manage master vendor list in ERP system.
  • Administer project budget approval workflow in ERP.
  • Maintain and manage contract consultant lists.
  • Support Project Managers and Finance in project close-out in ERP.
  • Support continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes and tools.
  • Commitment to high Ethical standards.
  • Occasional travel to field locations and supplier facilities may be required.
Qualifications/CompetenciesThe individual in this role will have:
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain, Vendor Management, and/or Accounts Payable Role.
  • Experience with an ERP; specifically Microsoft D365, is a definite asset.
  • Already enrolled, or willing to, enroll in the SCMP program.
  • High energy with a relentless customer service focus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, DocuSign & Outlook.
  • Experience with procurement, accounts payable or project accounting considered an asset.
  • Experience with Oildex OpenInvoice considered an asset.
  • Ability to be organized, multi-task, prioritize, work under tight deadlines and to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An analytical, data driven approach with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communications skills including oral, written, and listening ability
