Job Description

SURFACE LAND AGENTThis position will involve working closely with the Clients and Administrators to ensure timely acquisition of projects.DUTIES:Surface Land Agent duties include:

  • Negotiating with landowners/occupants/stakeholders for various surface interests
  • Researching area compensation for negotiations
  • Administering and maintaining files, both electronically and hard copy
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSApplicants for the Surface Land Agent position must possess the following qualifications:
  • Olds College Land Agent Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with agricultural practices
  • Pipeline & wellsite construction knowledge
  • Alberta Land Agent’s Licence
  • Alberta Driver’s Licence
  • Alberta Commissioner for Oaths
