Job Description

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently has an immediate opening for an Equipment Hauling Swamper – Evenings and Weekends only in our Trucking business unit. The main objective of the Swamper is to assist the heavy haul drivers with completing their daily tasks safely and efficiently.Requirements:

  • Be in healthy physical condition and able to do manual labor.
  • Flag traffic and spot rigs maneuvering in various situations.
  • Assist driver to prep rig for load securement, preparing chains, boomers, etc.
  • Complete digital logging for equipment moves.
  • Sweep trailers and load and unload areas before leaving jobsites.
  • Communicate with business groups on schedule updates for equipment deliveries.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
  • Must successfully pass mandatory Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Available to work various evening hours Monday – Friday (after 5:00pm) and Weekends.
