Job Description

Talent Acquisition SpecialistAbout UsAllnorth’s award winning multidisciplinary engineering and technical services team is fortunate to be part of the significant growth of the company over the past few years. Our continuous improvement philosophy, skilled professionals and technical experts have allowed us to take on challenging and exciting projects while servicing clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Pulp & Paper sectors.Our OpportunityWe are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role has the ability work from any Allnorth location fulltime, in a hybrid model, or even fulltime remote. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position is accountable for developing and managing the "talent pipeline" essential to Allnorth successfully achieving its business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in defining and maintaining the assigned recruitment requirements and strategy to meet them. Guide and assist internal hiring Managers on recruiting and sourcing alternatives appropriate for their business
  • Build a candidate pipeline by establishing the Allnorth brand and sourcing, screening and qualifying prospective candidates for required and potential future hires. Be the Allnorth brand ambassador!
  • Provide coaching to hiring manager on market conditions, competitive human resource landscape and effectiveness of recruitment strategies for the company
  • Manage and utilize the ATS and the latest technology, processes and leveraging various media platforms to drive searches and maintain the database of candidate profiles
  • Support internal clients with interview best practices
Requirements
  • Post Secondary degree / diploma in a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in full cycle recruitment
  • Experience with high volume recruitment, particularly in the construction or engineering industry being an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative with sourcing and headhunting efforts to find suitable candidates for technical positions
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop, maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients by listening, understanding and responding to identified needs as required
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and function independently
  • Ability to work effectively with others outside the line of formal authority and use appropriate interaction skills and methods to guide others to make a decision or accomplish work
