As someone with excellent communication skills and business acumen, you will thrive in our fast-paced and agile environment.We offer flexible work hours and remote working options to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.Your opportunityWe are currently seeking candidates for the position of Talent Sourcer.This role will be a welcome addition to our internal talent acquisition team which functions as part of Dillon’s human resources department. All members of the HR team contribute to the development of programs, regardless of role. Your input will not only be heard; it will be expected and it will make a difference. Your enthusiasm and drive for excellence will present opportunities to chart your own path to success with a rewarding career in our firm.Responsibilities:What your day will look likeTalent Sourcing (85%)

• Provide talent sourcing services for internal clients for technical and non-technical hires, which may include:

• contribute to Dillon’s talent sourcing strategy
• develop, test, and track customized sourcing strategies to identify top talent for current and future roles
• source, engage and activate passive candidates through recruiting best practices and programs
• research new sourcing opportunities and avenues
• conduct intake meetings with hiring leads and recruiting business partners
• create effective job ads and candidate profiles and coordinate job postings
• screen resumes and complete first interviews to assess and shortlist candidates
• communicate sourcing updates to key stakeholders
• support other steps in the recruiting process when required

• Function as an effective ambassador for Dillon’s employer brand
• Build relationships with candidate communities to maintain a network of potential candidates and nurture a pipeline of potential candidates
• Measure and report on key performance indicators for talent sourcing
• Oversight of Dillon’s Employee Referral Program
• Utilize technology as an efficiency driver in identifying top talent
• Provide key market insights back to the business to inform future decisions and strategy

Human Resources (12%)

• Potentially provide support, coordination and back-up for other human resources activities (as assigned) which may include on-boarding and orientation, coaching and mentoring, Dillon’s Early Career Development program, employee relations and other corporate initiatives

Learning & Development (3%)

• A commitment to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
• Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees

Qualifications:What will you need to succeed

• Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

Experience:

• One (1) to three (3) years recruiting experience, the majority of which was focused on talent sourcing
• Demonstrated success of engaging and hiring passive candidates for high priority roles
• Demonstrated experience and success simultaneously sourcing multiple hiring initiatives for technical and non-technical roles
• Demonstrated experience working with sourcing technologies, applicant tracking systems and human resource information systems
• Effectively worked within a collaborative and dynamic team of talent acquisition and human resources professionals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and be well-organized, detail-oriented and results-focused
• Continuously look for new sourcing avenues to hire talent and build pipeline
• Highly proficient in MS Office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
