Job Description

As a Sunterra Market Kensington Team Lead, you will hold a lasting impression for our customer’s shopping experience by performing all customer service functions. Your role will include assisting customers during the checkout process and performing all cash related duties. Additionally, you will work to maintain attractive customer service displays and support our overall customer service vision. You have a passion for leading and training people and will provide legendary customer service to all our customers and Team Members.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and proper procedures for customer check out, handling of tenders and use of PLUs
  • Assist in overseeing customer flow; ensure that customer waiting time is limited
  • Process invoices and returns
  • Answers department telephone calls and pages
  • Ensure that food products and customer servicemeetSunterra quality standards
  • May participate in theselectionof food serviceTeam Memberand assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets
  • Control and maintain records of inventory, monitor productcost,and inform management
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Have solid knowledge of our Fresh Rewards program and our procedures to assist customers
  • Must make sure all Team Members prepare, season and cook food according to standardized recipe, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal andkitchenselection preparation.
  • SetTeam Memberwork schedules and monitorTeam Memberperformance
  • Train Team Members in job role duties,healthand safety procedures
  • Conduct 1 on 1 meetings with Team members
  • Attend Financial meetings, Rollouts
  • Hold Pre and Post shift meetings
Qualifications:
  • Full-time availability
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Cash management / handling experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and train others
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • A passion for food
