SummaryThe Team Lead, IT Unified Communications should be a highly motivated, energetic, and a passionate individual to lead the Unified Communications Team. The Team Lead advises on planning, design, implementation, and controls the installation, maintenance and administration of network infrastructure ensuring that the capacity, reliability, and availability of IT network services meet the requirements of the organization.The position requires a broad technical background along with strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities as it includes a wide range of challenges in assisting with day-to-day people, technical issues, and project related tasks.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Monitor and manage the following technologies to ensure the availability, reliability and responsiveness of systems and services:All LAN/WAN/MAN/WLAN voice and data network topologiesNetwork security infrastructure including firewalls, http filters, IDS/IPS, Cloud Services3rd party telecom services including MPLS, VSAT, VPN, Internet, PSTNVoice services including VoIP, Cellular, MSAT, IP TelephonyVideo ConferencingStrong hands-on knowledge of at least 3 of the following Cisco networking solutions including LAN, WAN, switching (L2 & L3), routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP,PVST, EIGRP, etc), data center, wireless, firewalling, VPN, QoS, & MPLS.Proficient in IOS, IOS-XE and NX-OS.Expert knowledge of management and configuration of Palo Alto Networks PAN line of firewalls and Panorama Management systemsKnowledge of configuration and management of Fortinet Firewalls, with FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager.Azure cloud services ( IOT, ExpressRoute ) are an asset.OT Experience or exposure is an asset.Strong knowledge of Cisco’s product line, including routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, wireless solutions, WAAS, and Cisco video conferencing platformsKnowledge of Cisco Unified Wireless networking.Knowledge of Dark Trace security appliances, configuration, and monitoring.Familiar with IBM QRadar SIEM cloud monitoring services, configuring new policies, generating security reports. Experience in creating and defining new network architectures and explaining complex issues/situations.Ability to explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing network processes or solutions.Knowledge of enterprise telephone systems, PBX and video conferencing solutions.Practical experience in information security, including vulnerability testing and security assessments.Develop a common understanding of service level expectations with the business areas and regularly review the business areas’ measures and impressions of service level delivery; work collaboratively to develop solutions to bridge the gapsDevelop effective business relationships between business staff and self/team members that are cordial, professional and productiveEnsure appropriate resources are in place to meet delivery expectations.
