Sometimes that leadership manifests in such deep technical expertise that they can lead and perform hands-on technical build, migration, and technical designs for projects to achieve client’s transformations and to help rescue clients from blocked or difficult projects. Translating client requirements, understanding client’s circumstances, and executing project services to support the design and implementation of converged infrastructure solutions, in order to deliver cloud operations, consolidate and protect workloads. You will use assets and reference architectures, build proof-of concepts, build and execute implementation plans, testing plans and deployment plans to address client requirements and work with products or solutions based on partner hardware and/or partner software.Kyndryl is making a big bet on OpenShift and we need people who have a deep technical background expertise in the technologies that will make our customers successful. To be a Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Specialist at Kyndryl you should be ready to be hands on from technical solutioning, project startup, implementation and project close.Role specific skills:

• 2 years of Redhat Openshift Delivery experience- ideally with minimum of 2 years in Kyndryl Canada organization Deliverable based driven
• Experience with and ability to execute the Redhat Openshift design within the Azure environment, utilizing both Azure native resources and ability to customize with IaaS components to meet customers needs.
• Implement individually or as a team of specialists including public cloud, storage, compute, security and network SMEs in the creation, configuration of the Redhat Openshift components.
• Work with customer and other Kyndryl SME to review technical requirements for configuration requirements of Redhat Openshift, resources potentially integrated with IaaS resources within the Azure tenant.
• Client Facing Success Driven
• Ability to communicate effectively to remote technical resources and Kyndryl and customer Project managers/resources
• Understanding of the Kyndryl Global Multicloud management Serives (MCMS) technical and process transition requirements
• Redhat Openshift engineering certification preferrable
• Strong understanding of relationship of RH Openshift in the Azure Public cloud, including services capabilities and constraints and trouble shooting effectiveness.
• Familiarity with RHEL Linux as primary Operating System of choice Technology Client Satisfaction Focused

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the account technical Redhat OCP implementation and ability to work with lead Architects to bring their design to reality.
• Provide insightful input to the Senior architect to assist in the creation of the Redhat elements of the design.
• Translates architects low level design into configuration detailed documentation, including potential creation of scripts to automate components of the implementation and operational manuals that can be used in steady state support of the environment.
• Familiarity with Redhat products and strong knowledge of Redhat Openshift 4.6. Previous experience working in an Azure Public cloud and the Azure tools and command lines required to implement.
• Ability to trouble shoot as required and present viable options to correct or enhance the environment.

• Working experience of Azure Storage resources
• Working experience of Azure Networking
• Working experience of Azure Security standards

Project Experience:

• Applied Mature Architecture design framework, principles and methodologies (high-level technical design, low-level technical design, and technical solution design integration)
• Strong Applied Cloud infrastructure engineering and designing skills
• Strong Applied Redhat OpenShift engineering, designing, implementation skills
• Applied Journey to Cloud Transformations (to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) strategies and principles
• Ability to Interpret requirements and create solutions
• Ability to Facilitate workshops
• Managing technical project workstreams to completion
• Ability to articulate key technologies’ impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, transformation, risk, business enablement and transformation objectives
• Ability to evaluate risk and merit to make recommendations
• Applied Client Facing skills with ability to understand and provide guidance and recommendations on solutions to address clients’ needs, challenges and transformations
• Evaluate risk and merit to make recommendations on available and speculative information

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• University graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics & Electricals or any other related field.

• AWS Cloud Certifications

• Red Hat Openshift Certifications
• Kubernetes Administration certification
