The Technical Systems Analyst is responsible for partnering up with various IT and business stakeholders in order to assess, analyze and recommend business and technical solutions, and lead the development and integration of end-to-end technical solutions that resolve application/system issues and meet business needs.What will you doAs a member of the CDIT group team, you will:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application support incidents related to Product and Pricing platform on Linux OS Platform and Mainframe zOS batch processing
  • Provides day to day support of monitoring server health, monitoring event logs, planning for and performing software upgrades which includes testing and execution of deployment across the enterprise
  • Leads detailed design phases for small to large projects/ programs identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues
  • Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies
  • Work cross functionally outside the team with Risk, Engineering and Packaging/Deployment to improve and mitigate security threats ensuring best practices and efficiencies are established which includes automating processes where possible
  • Participate in pager rotation format 24x7 Application Support if needed
What do you need to succeed Must-have
  • Minimal 2 years of industry experience in a Technical role across many technologies
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix &,zOS; Oracle database with ability to write SQLs, Shell Commands & procedures, mainframe JCLs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, solve problems and implement appropriate solutions
  • Understanding of infrastructure integration and deployment, application server and support, application systems design and integration, along with security standards and technologies
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Apache software, such as KAFKA & NiFi
  • Knowledge of Network Infrastructure in multi-OS client/server platforms servers (ex.Tomcat, JBoss, Apache)
  • Ability to create Zeke Jobs, Shell Procedures for automation purposes,
  • App Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK
