This team supports the real-time transactions, events, and vendors working constantly behind the scenes. As a manager you will lead a growing team of Technical Analysts and not only be managing team initiatives and ensuring the team is keeping up with constant changes, but also take a hands-on approach as needed. This includes digging into data, issues, and incidents using data analysis tools, modeling, and logical thinking.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiringDevelop an onboarding process for new hires to maximize the effectiveness of new team membersHold both individuals and team accountable, ensuring they understand expectations and have what they need to succeedHelp motivate the team; communicate priorities and relative urgency within teams or between teamsHelp communicate key changes, concepts, or big picture thinking across an extremely large and fast-growing group of peopleMaintain policy, process, and compliance documentation for the team; help ensure our team follows agreed-upon guidelinesManage access and privilege levels and be responsible for security concerns in a regulated, audited industryHelp manage team member schedules to guarantee support at all hours and ensure any production alerts or incidents are tracked and resolved with long-term solutionsAny and all management, coordination, facilitation, or leadership responsibilities as assigned by the department head.Who we're looking for:Great verbal and written communicators, including technical writing and the ability to debate or talk through complex scenarios.Humble managers who lead through service, but who are not afraid to speak up, provide feedback, or hold teammates accountableLeaders who have experience building and growing larger teams through continuous recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and trainingAchievers who aren’t happy with an average teamApplicants must be eligible to work in Canada and willing to relocate to Calgary, ABCareer-focused individuals looking to dedicate their time and energy to the success of a bigger team and achieving our expansive visionAdaptable, high-achievers energized by a startup environmentDetail-oriented thinkers who can make plans and execute them with discipline and due attentionTeam players who love being part of a fluid and collaborative leadership team without jockeying for position, politics, or empire-buildingWhat it’s like to work with us:At Neo, you’ll be working with industry-leading technology that changes the way we live and realize a better financial future.
