Job Description

About the JobThe Territory Sales Representative manages a territory of customers predominantly in the restaurant and bar sector and is responsible for the following: growing sales and retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service, gaining new sales through new products and new customers, and providing customers training on food safety and sanitation through high-quality surveys and audits.Our employees have an entrepreneurial and results orientated mindset.   • Introduce BBSPro’s range of cleaning products to customers; prepare and update corresponding quotes; make recommendations and help to manage appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Installs and maintains equipment (primarily dish and glasswasher machines) to ensure operating correctly and optimally including, performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on, dish machines and dispensing equipment.
  • Train customers on safe equipment use and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and enhance existing relationships with customers while working independently and maintaining your own schedule.
  • Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • We are looking for candidates who will reside in Calgary, A.B., and who are willing to travel to surrounding areas including but not limited to Red Deer, Lethbridge, Canmore, and Banff.
  • Perform other functions as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in foodservice, hospitality, or grocery environment.
  • Mechanical ability (plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical experience) and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment and dispensing systems.
  • Previous business to business value-add sales experience.
  • You are detail-oriented, able to work with little direct supervision; well organized, with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects and effectively follow through on projects.
  • Strong critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and in an environment full of deadlines, providing accurate output.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and with a variety of different customers.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of CMA, Moyer Diebel, and ADS glass and dishwashers.
Other Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Overtime, occasional weekends as required.
  • Must have the flexibility to handle emergency calls at night, during the weekends, and on holidays based on customer needs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; able to bend, stoop and kneel on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lb.
