TEP Canada also formally reviews base salary and performance bonus annually.Responsibilities:Field Duties (70- 80% of work time):

  • Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable regularly working at heights by climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Typical heights of towers are 150’ – 500’ above ground.
  • Perform audits, mappings, and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers.
  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
  • Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OHS, CSA S37-18, etc.)
Office Duties (20- 30% of work time):
  • Prepare inspection reports by using data gathered while in the field.
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
  • Complete necessary tasks for multiple projects prior to field work such as Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), coordinating crane rentals, booking travel arrangements.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
  • College diploma or previous experience working in telecom;
  • proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel;
  • excellent English communication skills (oral and written);
  • experience with rock climbing, working at heights, tree trekking or climbing utility poles;
  • be physically fit to climb towers;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented;
  • have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle; and
  • Canadian resident with necessary permit or citizenship to work in Canada.
