Manpower is currently seeking a Transportation Analyst for a contract position with a major oil and gas client in Calgary, AB. Dont wait… Apply today!Location: Calgary, ABDuration: 12-month contract with review and renewWhat will you be doing

  • Document specifics around all applicable pipeline, rail and marine modes of transport for both historical and current shipments, applicable trunk lines and feeder pipeline
  • Develop full understanding of producing locations, their associated transportation options and applicable commitments
  • Maintain and grow a high level of technical/professional expertise and apply those skills in a way that adds value to the business
  • Gather, analyze and maintain details of production and transportation activities associated with all applicable modes of transport
  • Champion functional change while taking responsibility for adapting quickly and effectively to individual changes
  • Examine, track, reconcile and update applicable export/import data
  • Provide back up to others within the team
What will you bring
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Finance major or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience in Oil & Gas, preferably with experience in pipeline scheduling
  • Experience with pipeline transportation network/infrastructure for bulk liquid commodities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline rules and regulations
  • Experience with third party pipeline systems and supporting information/data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytics skills required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) designation considered an asset
