Kudos is hiring for a Vice President Technology to lead our technology teams and function. • Lead Development (Engineering, QA, Architecture, CI/CD), SRE, IT, Security, Risk & Compliance functions

• Learn and understand the business vision and market opportunity for the company
• Be a strong hands-on technology leader to define and drive the overall operational efficiency and reliability strategy and roadmap for Kudos
• Ensure optimal operation of our cloud infrastructure as a mission-critical enterprise service
• Develop and champion the near-term targets, aligned to annual corporate goals, for continually improving operating processes, scalability, quality, performance, stability, metrics and observability for all production systems and infrastructure
• Drive a total quality culture to continually improve reliability, resiliency and operating efficiency
• Develop and own the strategic technology operational roadmap for the company
• Oversee core operational metrics, and enable all technology teams with tooling, frameworks, and training necessary to continually optimize our platforms for efficiency, scalability and reliability
• Oversee integrated release planning, coordination and design across architecture, software, analytics, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure that all Kudos teams design and build supportability, resiliency, security, and reliability in from day one
• Champion efficiency and reliability first, and data-driven decisions, development, and delivery
• Oversee Security, Risk and Compliance to ensure the integrity client data and brands while building business value
• Collaborate with other members of the Senior Leadership Team to develop annual goals, metrics, and budgets and drive initiatives to deliver on them.

You Are

• A strong leader who can inspire and manage teams both locally and remotely
• A respected technical and process role model and mentor for technology teams, leading, motivating, and challenging a diverse, distributed technology team
• Excellent communication skills, which include active listening and the ability to present complex ideas in concise written and verbal descriptions which are easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong systems thinker, able to assess complex systems and processes, drive focus on the key objective metrics that are most impactful to the business, and drive highly targeted initiatives and tooling to continually optimize and improve same

Desired Skill Set and Experience

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years leadership experience in B2B Cloud Software development and operations
• Extensive experience in modern CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud technologies
• Demonstrated history as an advocate and coach for observability, reliability, and resiliency best practices and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability developing, advancing, and evolving a robust operational roadmap, and incorporating same into strategic product and technology roadmaps
• Experience in capacity management and forecasting, and enterprise-scale infrastructure monitoring and alerting
• Expert in leveraging continuous integration and deployment tooling and best practices, with a preference for cross-platform stacks and containerization
• A track record in B2B Cloud Software Security Operations, Risk and Compliance
• Demonstrated history of managing corporate IT in a fast-growing company
