Job Description

Waste Tracking supports the Midstream Services, as well as Waste Services operational teams. The role will also work directly with the Account Management team to identify customer needs and to attract and obtain new business.   • Collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for customer waste received at Secure sites to distribute a comprehensive report that tracks waste from cradle to grave.
  • Collection of waste summaries from various waste receivers across Canada for our 3rd party Waste Tracking business.
  • Review large amounts of data for regulatory compliance, and thoroughly analyzes ensuring quality assurance and quality control on all waste reports prior to distribution. These accountabilities involve preparation and submission of reports for audits and acting as a resource to customers both internally and externally.
Qualifications/Competencies:The individual in this role will have:
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Understanding of waste management & environmental regulations, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
  • Advanced computer skills with ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (advanced excel skills are essential)
  • Experience with GeoScout mapping software would be an asset
  • Ability to manage a range of work assignments and changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent follow up skills, results-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure, meet demanding deadlines and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as be an integral part of a team environment
  • Good listening skills along with ability to accept and follow direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively and express thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
