Job Description

Join the KWM team!The small but talented crew at Kensington Wine Market is seeking like-minded skillful, passionate, and outgoing members for our team.Ideally, we are looking for candidates that:

  • Have a love of Wine, Whisky, Beer, and/or other Spirits and want to learn more.
  • Have prior work experience in customer service, retail, restaurants, and/or the hospitality industry.
  • Show the ability to take ownership of duties and tasks received, ensuring that they are done correctly and efficiently.
  • Are able to work full or part-time including evenings and weekends (usually no later than 9:30 PM, with some exceptions).
  • Have their Proserve certification (or equivalent), or can successfully complete it within two weeks of starting employment (we cover the cost).

We are made up of positive and positively hard-working people that are driven to share our love for what we sell with our wonderful customers. We are a small-ish but capable team, so we all end up wearing many hats.ARE YOU:
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Passionate about Wine, Scotch, Bourbon and/or Craft Beer
  • Filled with the desire to (casually and/or power) lift full cases of wine and flats of beer whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Capable of working on various tasks throughout a workday including (but most definitely not limited to) helping customers pick their next favourite wine, filling purchase orders taken over the internet or phone, acting as an extra in our latest off-the-cuff social media post idea, and much, much more
  • Constantly telling friends about that new bottle of wine that you just tasted that nobody knows about yet
