Job Description

JOB TITLE: Workface PlannerDEPARTMENT: OperationsLOCATION / REGION: LNG Canada, Kitimat, BCREPORTS TO: Project Controls ManagerSCHEDULE: 14 on/7 off, 10 hours/dayCourage | Respect | Humility | Solidarity | ConvivialityKEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with Company Values to achieve long-term success.
  • Ensure performance is in line with relevant Altrad documents and Procedures (whichever has the higher standard to ensure we deliver upon minimum requirements)
  • The Altrad reputation and brand is enhanced with an aim of being a “Supplier of Choice” for our Client
  • Build/maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
  • Develop IWPs in accordance with attached IWP template;
  • Develop IWPs in line with the CWP in Construction Schedule Workface CPM Schedule;
  • Maintain IWP constraint list and ensure all the IWPs are released free of constraints;
  • Review IWPs with superintendents or General foreman during IWP development and incorporate any comments as needed;
  • Provide development status of IWPs with attached IWP release Plan;
  • Participate in weekly cross discipline coordination meetings as requested;
  • Review the project Drawing Log and update all IWPs with latest information;
  • Develop and maintain the IWP Release Plan;
  • Organize and coordinate cross discipline plan reviews;
  • Identify and special safety considerations with collaboration from HSSE as required Coordinate IWP scaffolding & equipment requirements;
  • Furnish a copy of the IWP’s material list to the Material Management (Company or Contractor) group to allow material allocation by IWP;
  • Control and monitor IWP throughout entire IWP lifecycle
  • Upon IWP completion, generate IWP punch lists or re-scope remaining work as required into new IWP.
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Project Controls Manager
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry particular within a Project environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Painting, Insulation and Fireproofing
  • Ability to do detailed take offs from drawings
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload utilising effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Suite.
