Job Description

PIPECARE seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team in the Calgary, Canada specializing in the oil and gas industry. PIPECARE provide complete Solutions to all aspects of all aspects of In Line- Solutions in the oil and gas industry and ensure pipeline integrity by providing highly accurate information for Maintenance and Repair Programs.PIPECARE innovations are based on continuous productamp; services improvementsamp; developments. We have the second-largest fleet of intelligent In-line inspection toolsamp; full range of pipeline diameters from 2” to 56” in the world and have designed and manufactured inspection systems utilizing the latest technologies and highly skilled people.Position SummaryGeneral role for Project Manager includes managing the operational projects and mobilization of the resource to the Oilamp; Gas fields, servicing the Oilamp; Gas pipelines, arranging field surveys and field verifications, demobilization of equipment upon completion and Reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, producing, executing, and controlling the project budget.Key Responsibilitiesamp; Authorities

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resources, and risk management strategies. Establish clear project objectives and milestones.
  1. Resource Management:
Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure availability of resources.
  1. Budget and Cost Management:
Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Implement cost control measures to optimize project costs and maximize profitability.
  1. Quality Assurance and Control:
Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed industry requirements and client expectations. Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
  1. Contract Management:
Oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with contractual obligations. Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, correspondence, and records. Generate regular progress reports and performance metrics for project stakeholders.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Identify training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  1. Commissioning and Handover:
Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure smooth transition to operational phase. Facilitate project handover to client or operations team, including documentation and training.
  1. Customers management:
Maintain customer’s communication at all time. Manage customer’s expectations, needs and critical to quality project execution and performance.Skills/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or relevant)
    • Min 5 years of operation planning experience
    • Experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting.
    • Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level.
