Equivalent ExperienceDescription:IN OFFICE ROLE IN CAMBRIDGE.Review, examine, calculate and make decisions on a variety of claims (mostly backlogged claims) in accordance with applicable policy and service standards. Required to attain performance objectives on a monthly basis. Key responsibilities include: Review, examine, calculate and make decisions on a variety of claims received in the claims processing unit, to ensure the claim is paid in accordance with the respective policy and within the contracted timeframes, conduct research via policies/flipcharts that can provide additional information needed to adjudicate claims, enter notes into the computer system/databases as required, facilitate stop payment requests and process reissues accordingly, place outbound calls to customers or providers to obtain information required to adjudicate a claim, create and send various types of professional correspondence, respond to inter-departmental inquiries, respond to escalations in a timely manner.Monday to Friday 830am-430pm or 9:00am to 5pmSkills:investigative mindset, interpreting policies, organizational skills, communication skills, accountabilityTop Skills Details:investigative mindset, interpreting policies, organizational skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
