Geosyntec is seeking an experienced Site Manager to work in the Savron division of our geo-environmental practice in our Cambridge, Ontario office. You will support the planning, construction, commissioning, and operations of STAR and STARx soil remediation facilities at international and domestic project sites. You will serve as an integral part of our team ensuring our projects are completed safely and successfully. You should have technical understanding and experience with construction quality assurance for various construction projects and experience with site management.The primary goal of this position will be to act as Savron s field representative at project sites and effectively oversee the alignment of construction, commissioning and operations with predefined plans, drawings and procedures. You will provide technical analysis and leadership related to your field of expertise, and Savron will provide opportunities to further develop professional skillsets. You will gain exposure to a variety of remediation initiatives and client sites, while learning how to implement Savron s remediation system designs. The position involves the operation and troubleshooting of system equipment, oversight and direction of subcontractors, communication with Savron project management and coordination with project stake holders. You will be expected to perform and oversee routine maintenance, identify issues via quality assurance and troubleshoot various equipment and processes.The position requires an applicant that is confident, capable and proficient in comprehension of construction plans and specifications. You will be expected to manage multiple team members and subcontractors in a variety of demanding environments and must possess a willingness to work outdoors through extended hours. You will be required to travel (often internationally) and perform prolonged fieldwork which may include weekends, overnights and holidays.
